As we continue November's bounty of Soca artists, we wish a very happy birthday to Fay-Ann Lyons. As she turns 29, she's got to be pretty thankful for the exiting year that just passed. The Trinidadian daughter of Soca and Calypso royalty proved herself worthy of the title "princess" in the game, by becoming the 1st female in that country's history to win the Soca Monarch title. She took both International (Power) soca and Groovy only days before becoming a mom for the first time.
