eing away from home at Carnival time can be a real bummer. But, it really doesn't have to be! Now, the internet makes it possible to attend numerous festivals at once. Last year, I had started to make plans to be in Antigua for Carnival 2009. However, my duties in Toronto will have me lapping up every moment of Caribana instead.
Found a link to the Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Service. If you're like me, wishing you could be in Antigua. Now, at the very least, you can watch all the action online.
Bookmark this page, and tune in throughout the season for coverage of the road parades, soca and calypso monarch shows from Barbuda Caribana and Antigua Carnival.
