Booster Shot: Ninja Dan turns himself in following a murder in St. Lucia

St. Lucian soca artiste, and 2007 Caribbean Soca Monarch, Ninja Dan turned himself in to police following an altercation on Valentine's Day morning that resulted in the death of another local man. The deceased is known to be romantically involved with the mother of Ninja Dan's child.
At this stage details surrounding the incident are impossible to confirm, however, eye-witnesses are reporting that the artiste was travelling with a group of friends in a car that eventually struck the victim. It is alleged that men came out of the car and proceeded to beat on the fallen man. At least one knife was used as a weapon to stab him. The victim was left lifeless and severely mutilated in the head.
It is important to note, that no charges have been laid. We do not know what role, if any, was played by Ninja Dan, except that he was present at the scene of the crime. Ninja Dan, however, is known to St. Lucia police and is currently on probation for a previous offense.

Just wanted to say that was really well written. That's a tough story to report on in this forum. You can read your genuine sensitivity to all parties involved, while sharing facts that many others would choose to sensationalize. Big ups.

I received the call about Ninja on Saturday morning. Believe me it hit me. It just isn't him. He promotes "Stop the Violence" and is such a positive person. I had received somewhat conflicting information previously, so I am glad I have the story from a credible source.
I'm very disappointed in Ninja Dan, he's going over to all schools preaching STOP THE VIOLENCE to kids and he's practicing something else. So tell me what message is going out there to them right now. My kids could not believe when they saw the news. Honestly I hope justice will be served. Ninja has to suffer the consequences for this crime he committed.
Its unfortunate wha Ninja got himself in, but ppl we gotta realize THAT NINJA IS HUMAN!! Even after he landed in this mess, im sure he will still preach STOP THE VOILENCE!! The devil has alwayz been able to slip into someones mind at the rite oppotune time to make us do irrational things.
Look at Police Oficers, they are there to uphold the law, and still they end up in sticky situations. Look at preachers of Word - church ministers, they preach one thing an some practise the opposite.
Plz dont take me wrong, i am not supporting wha ninja did, BUT im lookin at it from him being a human, sinful human nature!!
Everyone is quick to put themselves at the scene of a crime. He is INNOCENT until proven guilty. Whoever started this blog couldn't further away from what really happened. Please people get away from gossip and searc for truth especially when we would like to be wanna be writer.
